No. A family account is free and includes our spelling app. You register for the Bee from your account.

Can my speller compete?
Homeschooled 4th–8th graders who live in one of 10 counties in North Idaho and Northeastern Washington and meet every eligibility rule. The rules apply to entering the Bee, not to creating an account.
